On Tuesday, the NJCAA released the forty-player roster for this years NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Classic that takes place in Atlanta, Ga. from July 28-29.
Iowa Western's Naomie Alnatas was selected to take part in the event. Alnatas, a freshman, averaged a team-high 12.8 points per game this year for the Reivers that finished No. 16 in the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball rankings. The native of Cayenne, French Guiana was highly efficient shooting the basketball in 2017-18 and joined the 50/40/90 club. She finished with a 52% overall field goal percentage and was just one of 39 players in Division I to shoot better than 40% from beyond the arc (minimum 100 attempts). Alnatas also shot 92.6% from the free throw line this past season.
Last year, DMACC's Molly Mitchell represented the ICCAC in this event.
