2026 Region 11 Championship Preview | Indoor Track & Field
STORM LAKE, Iowa — The 2026 NJCAA Region 11 Indoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted at Buena Vista University's Lamberti Recreation Center in Storm Lake, Iowa, on February 20–21, 2026. Over two days of competition, the region's premier student-athletes will compete across multi, track, and field events in pursuit of conference honors and championship recognition.
Historically, Region 11 has been defined by Iowa Central's sustained excellence, as the Tritons have captured 16 regional titles since 2006, including a 15-year championship streak, and added seven national indoor championships.
In the most recent era, Iowa Western has shifted the competitive landscape, claiming four of the last five Region 11 indoor championships. Indian Hills, meanwhile, has remained a national contender despite coming up short at the regional level in recent seasons. Highlighted by its 2024 national championship after finishing as the Region 11 runner-up to Iowa Western, the Warriors are further evidence of the depth and quality throughout the region. With multiple proven programs and championship-caliber athletes converging in Storm Lake, the stage is set for a highly competitive weekend and an unforgettable battle for the Region 11 title.
