ICCAC Fills Up NJCAA All-American Lists in 2026
The ICCAC landed 13 players from six different schools on the NJCAA All-American teams as the association announced its annual awards Wednesday afternoon. The selections recognize players for their outstanding performances during the 2026 season.
In Division I, Iowa Western had two players earn All-American honors following a season that culminated in a national tournament appearance. ICCAC Player of the Year Kennedy Borud headlined the list for the Reivers, earning Second Team All-American honors after ranking among the NJCAA leaders in multiple offensive categories. Borud batted .453 and ranked fourth nationally with 90 RBIs and fifth with 24 home runs. She also finished seventh in slugging percentage (.983) and 10th in total bases (173).
Cassie Benberg of Indian Hills joined Borud on the Second Team. Benberg led the Warriors with a .431 batting average and a .725 slugging percentage. She collected 47 hits, drove in 44 runs and scored 33 times while posting a .504 on-base percentage. One of her top performances came in an 11-2 victory over Highland (Kan.), when she hit two home runs and drove in seven runs.
Iowa Western's Taylin Tabor rounded out the Division I honorees with a Third Team All-American selection. Tabor led the Reivers with a .495 batting average, the 13th-best mark in the NJCAA this season. She also ranked sixth nationally in runs scored (83) and eighth in hits (94), adding 22 doubles, seven triples and 42 RBIs. Tabor posted six games with a perfect batting average and hit .500 or better in 37 games during the season.
In Division II, 10 ICCAC players from four schools earned All-American honors. Six of those selections landed on the First Team, accounting for more than one-third of the national list.
DMACC pitcher Kierra Jungers earned First Team All-American honors for the second consecutive season after another dominant year in the circle. Jungers ranked second nationally with 219.2 innings pitched and posted a 1.18 ERA while holding opponents to a .127 batting average. She recorded 385 strikeouts and led the NJCAA with a 0.68 WHIP.
Joining her fellow Bear on the First Team was Macee Reiling, who also earned her second consecutive First Team All-American selection. Reiling batted .449 and posted a .567 on-base percentage. Her 57 walks ranked second in the NJCAA, while she also compiled 169 total bases. Reiling finished among the nation's top 15 in hits (92), doubles (24) and RBIs (81).
Kirkwood's Shannon Finn earned First Team All-American recognition after scoring 100 runs, the third-most in the NJCAA this season. Finn also ranked among the national leaders with 51 walks and a .559 on-base percentage. Once on base, she remained a threat, stealing 48 bases, the eighth-most in the NJCAA.
Eagles pitcher Libby Trewin put together a standout debut season, earning First Team All-American honors after posting 29 wins, the second-most in the NJCAA. Trewin threw 195.1 innings, recording 24 complete games and seven shutouts. She finished with a 1.54 ERA, struck out 194 batters and limited opponents to a .167 batting average.
Kirkwood catcher Mischa Reiners also earned First Team All-American recognition. Defensively, Reiners posted a .996 fielding percentage in 281 total chances, recording 263 putouts and 17 assists. At the plate, she ranked fourth nationally with 91 RBIs while adding 73 runs scored, 148 total bases and 13 home runs.
Rounding out Kirkwood's First Team selections was Breckin De La Rosa. De La Rosa batted .433 and collected 90 hits in 2026. She ranked fifth nationally with 26 doubles, eighth with 87 RBIs and added 19 home runs. Her 174 total bases ranked 11th in the NJCAA.
Iowa Central's Natalie Rasmussen earned Second Team All-American honors following a terrific season. Rasmussen ranked fourth nationally in total bases (188), fifth in home runs (24) and eighth in runs scored (91). She also posted impressive marks in hits (91), slugging percentage (.940) and stolen bases (41). One of her top performances came in a 21-4 win over Hawkeye, when she hit three home runs, scored five runs and drove in six.
NIACC pitcher Chloe Thurlby earned Third Team All-American honors after one of the top seasons in the circle this year. Thurlby won 23 games, the seventh-most in the NJCAA, while posting a 2.68 ERA. Her 209.1 innings pitched ranked third nationally, and her 228 strikeouts were the second-most in the NJCAA.
Two more DMACC Bears were named to this year's list, both Third Team, in Morgan Neuroth and Mackenzie Mohler.
Neuroth stepped to the plate 227 times in 2026, the most of any player in the NJCAA. She finished the season with 89 hits, 58 RBIs, 17 doubles, 69 runs scored and 13 home runs while compiling 147 total bases.
In her debut season with the Bears, Mohler batted .410 with 27 doubles and 13 home runs, with her doubles total ranking fourth nationally. She also scored 74 runs, drove in 67 and totaled 159 bases while recording seven sacrifice flies, tied for the seventh-most in the NJCAA.
