DMACC, Iowa Central, NIACC Lead Division II Women's Golf All-Region Lists
The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference announced its all-region honorees for the 2025-26 Division II women's golf season Tuesday. First-team, second-team and honorable mention honors were based on performances at the North Plains District Tournament.
The ICCAC Women's Golf Player of the Year honor went to NIACC's Meghan DeLong. She only played in four events because of an injury, but she posted an average score of 84.7 across those rounds. She is not currently ranked on Scoreboard because of the injury, but last season she was No. 7 nationally on the NJCAA DII women's golf leaderboard after winning eight events.
She won two events, including the North Plains District individual title, adding to her total of 10 career wins. She is also the first NIACC women's golfer to win the individual title. Her other win was at the NIACC Spring Invitational, where she won with a score of 6 over par. Her performance at the North Plains District Tournament led the Trojans to an NJCAA Division II National Tournament berth for the third time in school history.
DMACC was led by Megan Wilde, who earned First Team All-Region honors after placing second at the North Plains District Tournament -- losing a three-hole playoff to DeLong. Wilde finished the season ranked 26th in the country in NJCAA DII women's golf according to Scoreboard and was the highest-ranked player in the ICCAC. She had three tournament wins and five top-three finishes, and finished fourth or better in nine of the 11 events she played in.
Wilde helped propel DMACC to its second straight NJCAA National Championship berth. Joining her as First Team All-Region honorees for the Bears was teammate Hannah Kenkel.
Iowa Central earned three First Team All-Region honorees, with Azul Orantes, Laiba Shah and Okira Quintero representing the Tritons. Iowa Central also earned an at-large bid as a team to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.
Joining DeLong among NIACC's all-region honorees were Addy Boell, Audrey Overgaard, Avery Knutsen and Kenedee Frayne. Boell, Overgaard and Knutsen earned Second Team All-Region honors, while Frayne was named honorable mention.
DMACC also had Isabella Ross named to the Second Team All-Region list, while Haley Loonan and Sydney Helgeson earned honorable mention honors.
Rounding out the all-region performers were honorable mention honorees Alyssa Schorg of Iowa Lakes and Sophie Mallott of Southeastern.
DMACC's Chris Seaboch was named the ICCAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year. It's the second consecutive year Seaboch has been named the ICCAC Coach of the Year and the third time overall. He also led DMACC to its second straight national tournament appearance.
