2026 NJCAA Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship Results
TOPEKA, Kan. — The Iowa Western Reivers completed the three-peat by capturing the 2026 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field national title. Scoring 111 points, the Reivers ran away with the meet and claimed their fifth title in six years.
Iowa Western was led by Juliana Sakat, who returned to claim more gold medals by winning five events. With four individual titles, Sakat took first in the 1,000 Meters in 2:48.85, the 3,000 in 9:32.34, the 5,000 in 16:42.47 and the mile in 4:49.27. Her fifth title came in the distance medley relay, where the Reivers posted a time of 11:52.62. Sakat set an NJCAA Record in the 1,000, which was also both a Meet and Facility Record.
Her 5,000 time doubled as a Meet Record as well.
Individually, the Reivers also got a national title from Yman Ossie Tchiengue, who cleared 1.81 meters in the high jump, narrowly missing her personal best.
In the relay events, the 4x800-meter relay and distance medley relay teams both took first place. The distance medley relay team that posted an 11:52.62 included Antonella Lanuza, Grace Nwaeme, Alyssa Kulesa and Juliana Sakat.
The 4x800 Mete Relay team posted a time of 9:14.87 and included Elizabeth Ewusie, Alyssa Kulesa, Mya Curtis and Antonella Lanuza.
In all, the ICCAC produced 12 All-American performances this season, with half resulting in national titles. Eight of those performances came from Iowa Western athletes.
Also earning All-American honors for the ICCAC were Chadrak Belinda Bula Bula of Iowa Central, who earned second-team honors in the 600 Meters with a time of 1:30.09, along with Honorable Mention performers Mary Laha of Iowa Western in the 60 Meter Hurdles in 8.53, Cindy Rose of Indian Hills in the 800 Meters in 2:12.54, Kahdijah Bailey of Iowa Western in the High Jump at 1.72 meters and Janae Dawes of Iowa Central in the Long Jump at 5.86 meters.
