2025 ICCAC Fall Preview | Women's Cross Country
The ICCAC Women's Cross Country season will see some of changes this year -- some teams eying to be more competitive with other teams looking to retain their spots at the top of the standings.
In Division I, Iowa Western is the team to beat after being ranked No. 1 in the coaches' preseason poll. Right behind the Reivers is Iowa Central, as they look to repeat their success from last year and continue their strong tradition in Region 11. Indian Hills returns with a strong roster, including their top runner and many talented freshmen. It wouldn't be a stretch to predict any of these three teams taking the Region 11 title in 2025.
In Division II, DMACC is top of the coaches' poll after winning the Region 11 title last year and placing third at the national championship. Behind the Bears are NIACC and Southeastern, ranked two and three in the coaches' poll, respectively. Both teams will be vying to take the title from DMACC this season with strong rosters that are ready to compete. Hawkeye at fourth has a small roster this season and a new coach who will look to turn some heads this season.
Rounding out Division II are Northeast Iowa and Scott. Northeast Iowa will establish its program in 2025, while Scott has a rejuvenated roster that will allow them to compete as a team in meets this year.
